College Readiness Coursework

Feel Confident for College

If you don’t feel quite ready for college-level classes, that’s okay - you can take courses specifically designed to prepare you. The College Readiness Coursework Program is intended for students with modest skill gaps. By successfully completing these courses, students can avoid remedial coursework and save over $500 in addition to a semester’s worth of time.

South Dakota high school seniors with scores lower than Levels 3 or 4 on the English language arts and math portions of the 11th grade South Dakota Assessment may need to take remedial coursework in college and should consider college readiness coursework in high school.
