College Readiness coursework is coursework that specifically supports high school students with academic preparation so they can avoid remedial coursework in college. Find opportunities that both satisfy high school requirements and qualify you for college-level classes.

Looking to take high school classes that give you the opportunity to earn college credits? High school dual credit gives students the advantage of earning both high school and college credit at the same time, saving you time and money.

Whether it be the ACT, SAT or Accuplacer, there are different tests that may need to be taken before college depending on the school and/or career path you choose. In fact, the ACT itself is often a requirement for scholarship applications, so it is highly recommended!

Students may apply to South Dakota’s public technical colleges and universities free of charge for two months each fall. During the free application period, you are encouraged to explore and apply to any of the public technical colleges and universities.
