This scholarship was established to celebrate the life and legacy of Norman Walter Ranschau. Norman had a passion for farming. He valued the importance of continually learning and expanding his knowledge in all aspects of farm management. This scholarship offers support for students planning to pursue a degree in agriculture-related fields.

The scholarship application window is December 15 – March 15.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be graduating seniors who are residents of:
- Lyon or Sioux Counties in Iowa
- Rock County in Minnesota
- State of South Dakota
- Participation in ag-related activities
- Scholarship may be awarded on Financial Need
