Did you know that you have a lot of choice in what classes to take to satisfy high school curriculum requirements for graduation? You do — and these choices could lead you to scholarship opportunities and better college preparation.

College Readiness coursework is coursework that specifically supports high school students with academic preparation so they can avoid developmental coursework in college. Find opportunities that both satisfy high school requirements and qualify you for college-level classes.

Looking to take high school classes that give you the opportunity to  earn college credits? High school dual credit gives students the advantage of earning both high school and college credit at the same time. Whereas Advanced Placement courses are college-level courses that allow a student to earn high school credit with the potential of earning college credit if they elect to take the final exam and earn a qualifying score.

Whether the ACT, SAT or Accuplacer, there are different tests that may need to be taken before college depending on the school and/or career path you choose. The ACT alone is often a requirement for scholarship applications, so highly recommended!
