WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Residents from South Dakota, students attending a SD high school, and individuals from SD Advantage states (i.e., Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming) who are first-time undergraduates (including those who have taken state-sponsored dual credit courses), transfer students, and readmits may participate in the free college application period.
Those completing graduate program applications from the aforementioned states are also able to participate when applying at Black Hills State University, Dakota State University, Northern State University and South Dakota Mines.
