Katherine A. Larson Scholarship

Applicants for this award must be graduating seniors of Lincoln High School who have participated in extra-curricular and community activities; plan to attend an accredited college, university, vocational or technical school; have a GPA of 2.5 or higher; and demonstrate traits such as determination, desire to succeed, ability to work well with others, and to go beyond what is expected to help and inspire others. Scholarships awarded through this fund are renewable.

Junior League of Sioux Falls Scholarship

The Junior League of Sioux Falls is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of other women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Applicants for this scholarship must be female; reside in Minnehaha or Lincoln Counties of South Dakota; be a graduating senior from an accredited high school or a home school program; and plan to attend an accredited college, university, community college, vocational school, or technical school (excluding institutions whose academic programs are conducted primarily online or via correspondence). Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Additionally, applicants must have a minimum ACT score of 23 or a minimum SAT score in the math and critical reading components of 1060.

Applicants for this scholarship must be female and reside in Minnehaha or Lincoln Counties of South Dakota. Scholarship requires a minimum ACT of 23 score to qualify. Scholarship selection may be based on financial need.

Julius A. and Dorothy L. Jacobsen Scholarship

Scholarship is possible through a grant by the John T. Vucurevich Foundation to help students in their academic path to a living wage. Scholarships are for students enrolled in degree programs at Western Dakota Tech pursuing their career goals.

To be eligible for this award, applicants must: plan to attend an accredited college or university or vocational or technical school; have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better and a minimum ACT score of 21; demonstrate characteristics of an American patriot; and demonstrate financial need. Available to seniors graduating from South Dakota high schools. This scholarship offers multiple awards.

This scholarship supports graduating seniors of Doland or Redfield high schools who plan to attend a South Dakota accredited college, university, or vocational or technical school. Successful applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, be involved in school and community activities, and be highly motivated self-starters. This scholarship offers multiple awards.
