This scholarship honors the life of Mary Scott, a 1989 graduate of Alcester High School. Mary’s life ended tragically in December 1994 following a car accident. This scholarship is open to Alcester-Hudson High School seniors who have participated and excelled in Family and Consumer Science or Family, Career, and Community Leadership of America and demonstrate financial need.

The scholarship application window is December 15 – March 15.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be graduating seniors of Alcester-Hudson High School in Alcester, SD
- Participation in Family and Consumer Science or Family, Career, and Community Leadership of America (FCCLA)
- Scholarship may be awarded on Financial Need
