Honoring the lives and contributions of Julius and Dorothy Jacobsen, this scholarship benefits graduating seniors from Tri-Valley, West Central and Montrose high schools who plan to pursue higher education at an accredited South Dakota school.

Whether you’re preparing to graduate from high school, wrapping up a general equivalency diploma, or working toward your undergraduate or graduate degree, the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation is proud to partner with passionate donors to administer a wide variety of competitive scholarships to help you achieve your educational goals.
The scholarship application window is December 15 – March 15.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be graduating seniors of Montrose High School, Tri-Valley High School, or West Central High School in South Dakota
- Minimum high school GPA: 3.5
- Minimum ACT score: 26
Applicable Institutions:
Any SOUTH DAKOTA four-year college or university
