Successful candidates for this award must be graduating from a Minnehaha County public or private high school and planning to attend a South Dakota college or university. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Additional criteria include participation in extra-curricular and community activities and a desire and ability to succeed in a chosen career field.

Applicants must be graduating seniors from a Minnehaha County public or private high school and planning to attend a South Dakota college or university. Scholarship selection may be based on financial need.
