Wokini Scholarship

First-time, transfer and graduate students are all eligible for the Wokini Scholarship. Students must be tribally enrolled in a federally recognized tribe in the United States, including Alaskan Natives, and provide tribal enrollment documentation. This scholarship is open to all majors.

Jackrabbit Guarantee Scholarship Program

The Jackrabbit Guarantee is awarded to first-time, full-time students with a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher. Amounts will vary between $1,000 to $4,000 annually based on high school merit achievements. Prevention Magazine Scholarship

Students looking to qualify for a $500 scholarship sponsored by Prevention Magazine can write an essay about a personal encounter you or someone you know has had with abuse. Students must currently be a high school senior enrolled in a high school located in Iowa, Illinois, North Dakota, South Dakota or Wisconsin. Students must have plans to attend college or plans for a training program, JATC, Military, etc. Scholarship information can be found on page 5 of the linked online edition of Prevention Magazine.

CodeWizardsHQ Educational Scholarship

In an aim to increase access to higher education and broadening a diverse candidate pool for the future STEM workforce, CodeWizardsHQ has created the Educational Scholarship to support students in the attainment of their dreams. Career and Technical Education Academy Scholarship

Southeast Tech awards scholarships to eligible students who have completed courses at the Sioux Falls School District’s Career and Technical Education Academy. Awards range between $500-$1,000.

Seed for Success Scholarship

Land a $5,000/year scholarship ($10,000 total if received as a first-year student). Southeast Technical College will award up to four full-time scholarships in one or two-year programs. You must possess a 3.0 GPA, both for initial award (high school GPA) and annual renewal. Preference will be given to students who provide an employment record during high school.

Southeast Tech Scholarships

Current and newly accepted students to Southeast Technical College are eligible for Southeast Tech Scholarships that are funded through the Southeast Technical College Foundation. These scholarships are funded by annual and endowed gifts. The scholarships typically range from $500‒$1,000, and each scholarship has unique eligibility criteria.

Coyote Beginnings Scholarship

At USD, you can benefit from the Coyote Beginnings program. All first-time freshman students who apply for fall admission to USD are automatically considered for up to $3,500 per year. Coyote Beginnings is available to recipients for up to four years as a full-time student and is based on GPA, standardized test scores and committee review. All first-time freshman students who apply for fall admission to USD are automatically considered.

Ruby’s Rainbow Scholarship

Our goal is to help as many college students with Down syndrome as we possibly can to go for their dreams of higher education and independence!
Awarded $1000-$10,000Students must be at least 18 years old and have the desire and intent to enroll or continue in a post-secondary class or program that will enhance their life through employment skills, independent living or life skills, or interests in any other areas. Students must provide copies of high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., certificate of completion), high school transcript if graduating in the spring of this year, or proof of acceptance to or current enrollment in a post-secondary program. Individuals who have previously been awarded a Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship can apply for another scholarship as soon as the following year.

DOD Cyber Security Scholarship Program

The Department of Defense Cybersecurity Scholarship Program (DoD CySP) is a nationwide program with the goal of increasing the number of qualified students entering the fields of cybersecurity, computer science, information assurance, and information technology at the Department of Defense through a scholarship for service program. These students will help secure the nation against threats of increasing attacks against our nation’s infrastructure and secure our country against threats.

 

Eligibility:

Students must be 18 or older, full time students and accepted into an appropriate program at DSU. Undergraduates must have completed at least 60 credits at the time at which they would receive the award. Students must have at least one year of school left (at least a fall and spring semester) in their plan of study (undergrad, graduate, or combination). Must meet minimum GPA standards of 3.2 (undergrad) or 3.5 (graduate).If awarded students can earn up to 100% tuition and fees covered plus a $27,000 undergraduate stipend or $32,000 graduate stipend. Includes funding for professional development and books, paid summer internship, and guaranteed job security following graduation in federal, state, local or tribal government.
