Army ROTC is a program that allows you to attend college and earn any degree while simultaneously completing requirements to commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Army. You can serve full time or part time in the Army as an Officer. You will earn a minor in Military Science along with the degree that you chose. Student elects how scholarship is paid out each term. The Cobell Undergraduate Scholarship Opportunity is a non-renewable competitive scholarship that provides scholarship support to enrolled members of US Federally-recognized tribes with strong academic records who can demonstrate financial need and have not yet earned a four-year Bachelor’s degree. Available for students planning to attend a non-profit, public or private and accredited institution as a full-time degree seeking student. Duplicate degrees cannot be funded (i.e. No second Bachelor’s degrees). The award amount can be up to $5,000 a year for first time applicants, and up to $10,000 for returning Cobell Scholars. (Though requirements state that students must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA, a lower GPA may be considered)

Awarded $1000-$10,000Students must be at least 18 years old and have the desire and intent to enroll or continue in a post-secondary class or program that will enhance their life through employment skills, independent living or life skills, or interests in any other areas. Students must provide copies of high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., certificate of completion), high school transcript if graduating in the spring of this year, or proof of acceptance to or current enrollment in a post-secondary program. Individuals who have previously been awarded a Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship can apply for another scholarship as soon as the following year.
