These free, five-day career exploration camps expose students to various career paths through fun, engaging and hands-on learning. Campers will spend time on university and technical college campuses and visit area businesses to see careers in action. Summer 2023 applications are now closed, but eligible students should watch for the application period in February-March 2024!

Intended Audience: 6th-9th Grade Girls
GenCyber Girls in CybHER Security will have a residential camp this summer for students. This FREE camp is for rising 6th-9th grade students. GenCyber Girls in CybHER Security seeks to inspire the next generation of Cyber Stars through hands-on exploration of cybersecurity concepts and activities, including Digital Forensics, Cryptography, Privacy, Cyber Awareness, Block Coding, and Python Coding. Registration is closed for this event.
Intended Audience: Incoming 7-8th Graders
Interested in how electronic devices work? Interested in how we can use them to produce sound and make music? This camp will explore the basics of electronics and how a few simple elements can be used to generate amazingly diverse arrangements of tones, beats and effects. We will take you from the basic skills of soldering and programming to constructing your own music generating machines. Each student will take home an electronic instrument they build. No background in electronics or music is required.
