This scholarship was established in loving memory of Sally Bertina Meyer, a 1972 graduate of Sioux Falls Washington High School. Sally went on to earn an associate degree in Animal Technology from Florida’s St. Petersburg Junior College in 1977.

The scholarship application window is December 15 – March 15.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be graduating seniors of a high school in Minnehaha County in South Dakota
- Minimum high school GPA: 3.0
